Pharmaceutics is a branch of pharmacy that involves designing, formulation and presenting a therapeutically useful chemical entity in a most appropriate drug delivery system such as tablets, capsules, syrups, etc. Pharmaceutics department has five different labs Pharmaceutics I, Pharmaceutics II, Pharmaceutics III, Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Biotechnology and machine room, an Aseptic (Area) Room and two sophisticated Pharmaceutics labs for M. Pharm. All the laboratories are well equipped with tablet punching machine, spray dryer, capsule filling machine , sieve shaker and dissolution rate apparatus, etc. The exposure know-how of such instruments at academics level is helpful to train the students with sophisticated equipments at the industrial scale.The various laboratories are :
